CASA's new weather and forecasting webinars will be running on Tuesday 25 October and Tuesday 8 November.


Webinar 1 - Operational overview In the first AvSafety weather and forecasting webinar, our industry experts will provide you with an overview of operational requirements for pilots and the types of aviation forecasts available. We will also cover what triggers a Bureau of Meteorology weather update and review the Automatic Terminal Information Services (ATIS).





Webinar 2 - Weather interpretation The second webinar unpacks weather and forecasting terminology, how to read and interpret weather and synoptic charts. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau will also explain the role weather can have in aviation incidents. Speakers include industry experts from Bureau of Meteorology, Airservices Australia and Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
